A Quarter Mile of New Pipe
Sometimes Being a Farmer's Husband Means Low-Tech Work
Today and a few days this week I have done my manly duty and helped my wife put in over a quarter of a mile of new 15" pipe to replace the decades-old 12" pipe. This should now be good for another forty years or so and there will be less leaks to fix.
After digging out the trench we used a tractor to lower the pipes into place and then a shovel attached to the tractor to push each piece together after greasing both the male and female ends. I appreciate hard work and I love farming. Thank God for a blue sky day and little to no wind today so we could get it all done. John Gotts - #johngotts #johnwrightgotts
